I am the best mom ever. Sorry to anybody else that may think they are - it's me. I even have a necklace charm that says, "#1 Mom." That's proof.
Another reason I'm the best mom ever? I just bought two tickets to see Green Day on July 14th. And I'm taking the kid. Yep. I.am.so.excited!!
Now all I have to do is figure out how to get Dave Matthews Band tickets (July 29). Oh. Damn. I just realized I couldn't go see him, anyways - the half marathon is August 2nd. Frick.
The art show was good the other day - I really love glass art. I'd love to learn how to blow glass, but don't have the slightest idea how to go about learning.
Working out is going well also. I lost 3# last week (journaling on Spark people really helps!!). Today I did strength training and 1/2 hour on the elliptical. When I first started at the gym I couldn't even do 15 minutes!!

I saw Greenday 7 years ago when they went on tour with Blink 182 and it was an awesome show! You'll have a great time.

Never seen Green Day - that would be a good one. DMB is awesome live - I've seen them more times I can count, and I have a friend that likes to get 1/2/3rd row tickets and share. I love my friends. lol And you ARE a cool mom! I'm taking the boy to his 6th Springsteen concert in August - hopefully these kids realize some day we ARE the cool moms!

@Glenn - The thing with the half/concert is I am about 7 hours from the mara...and I'm working that week...so if I go to the concert (I haven't given up on it yet!) I'll be kinda tired. But you only live once, right???
@Kathy - DMB Rocks. Seriously. I need friends like yours. Right now I'm trying to get in with REVERB - they're a carbon offset group that takes volunteers to concerts. Wish me luck!

I rember when I was 14 how thrilled I would have been to go to a rock concert with my mom!!!!
